Preparing your Professional Executorship in case of Death, Incapacity or Incarceration
Event Description: As we consider how our clients' needs will be met in the event that we become unexpectedly unavailable, creating a plan is crucial. This plan is a board and ethical mandate, and yet many of us feel overwhelmed and underprepared by the prospect. Ms. Grove will share what she has learned about the professional executorship process, with considerations for maintaining long-term records, streamlining the impact on our executors, and ensuring confidentiality and support for our clients.
Presenter bio: Sarah Elizabeth Grove is an LCSW who has practiced in both Tennessee and Oregon. She worked with an attorney in Tennessee for her initial professional executorship process and has continued to refine her documents and process. She runs a private therapy practice in Albany and continues to see Tennessee clients via telehealth.
